Getting Here
- How do I get to Capri?
- From the Naples port - Molo Beverello - there are fast and direct SNAV and NLG ferries all day long. The crossing takes 50 minutes. There are also ferries from the Sorrento port which run all day and get to Capri in 25 minutes.
- Is staying near the port an advantage?
- Marina Grande is a strategic base for visiting the island easily and independently. Our hotel is just meters from the funicular, the bus terminal for routes to Anacapri, the taxi stand, and the ticket office for ferries. Boat trips to the famed Blue Grotto by traditional island boats are also nearby.
- Directions to Relais Maresca
- As soon as you arrive at the port on Capri, we are the first hotel to the right. Our hotel is the historic building painted light blue, and you can see it from the ferry before you disembark!
- Is there a porter service for my luggage?
- The porter company is located at the port on Capri, and you can give them your bags to be transported directly to your hotel room. You can pay for this service upon check-out from the hotel.
- Can I take my car on Capri?
- Vehicles are prohibited on the island for non-residents from April to October. You can leave your car at the Parcheggio Buono parking garage located at Molo Beverello at the Naples port, or at the Marina Piccola parking garage at the Sorrento port.
The Hotel
- Does the hotel have a restaurant?
- Our "Terrazza Maresca" restaurant with a view is open for guests and walk-ins daily from 7:30 am to 10 pm for breakfast (7 am - 10:30 am), lunch (noon -3 pm), bistrot menu (noon - 10 pm) and dinner (7 pm - 10 pm)
- Is there a concierge service?
- Our concierge is happy to book restaurant reservations, day trips, spa treatments, and private transfers to and from the island of Capri, as well as share information and tips to make your stay on Capri flawless and unforgettable.
- Does Relais Maresca have an elevator?
- Yes, all the guest rooms and the La Terrazza restaurant can be reached with the elevator.
- Is Relais Maresca near the beach?
- The hotel is located directly facing the Marina Grande beach, which has a free public area and a beach club where guests can reserve sun loungers and umbrellas for a fee. There are beach towels available for guests of the hotel.
- Is Relais Maresca family-friendly?
- Yes, we have family rooms overlooking the sea that can sleep up to 5 guests, which is ideal for a family or group of friends.
- Is there a currency exchange or ATM machine in the hotel?
- No, but there is both a currency exchange and an ATM just 10 meters from the hotel.
On Capri
- How can I get to the famous Piazzetta in Capri town?
- Just 50 meters from the hotel, Capri's funicular runs up to the Piazzetta daily. The ticket office is just across the street.
- What can I do on Capri when it rains?
- On the rare rainy day, you can go to Anacapri to visit the famed Villa San Michele (the residence-turned-museum of the physician and writer Axel Munthe), the nearby Church of San Michele with its breathtaking majolica floor depicting the Garden of Eden, and the Casa Rossa Museum. You can also take advantage of the day trip to stop at a local restaurant in Anacapri for lunch.
- How can I get to Anacapri?
- The bus terminal for routes to Anacapri is across the street from the hotel, and buses depart every 30 minutes.
